This
quote has left a permanent mark on my heart. Ever since I was a little girl I
have always wanted to help people and I have carried that with me as I have
grown older. Now that I have been able to work with children, my compassion has
only flourished. As a teacher, I will strive to give my students all my love, support,
and attention because they deserve nothing short of that. Knowing that I can
potentially change a child’s life gives me a desire to do it for every student
that walks into my classroom. Being a student at Jacksonville State University
has only made my love for education grow stronger. I cannot wait to embark on this journey of teaching little ones while they are also teaching me!
